paws for a curePaws for a Cure is to benefit the 2012 Monroe County Walk for Women... If you do not have a dog to walk..... The Monroe County Animal League will provide loveable dogs to walk that will be available for adoption.

 

Date:        Saturday, August 25, 2012

Where:    At Mountain View School Walking Track, Union, WV

Time:        4-5 PM for registration

Walk:        Begins at 6 PM

Cost:        $20.00 includes a T-Shirt


There will be a speaker, Chinese auction, entertainment, and hot dogs and drinks available.  


All proceeds from this event go to the Monroe County Walk for Women which benefits the WV Breast and Cervical Cancer Diagnostic and Treatment Fund.  The fund, established by the 1996 WV Legislature, paws for a cureprovides diagnostic and treatment services for women throughout West Virginia who have no health insurance and whose income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.



Donations can be made payable to the Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation..

The Paws for a Cure benefit the 2012 Monroe County Walk for Women sounds like a fun event plus what a wonderful way to help and donate to the WV Breast and Cervical Cancer Diagnostic and Treatment Fund.  I like the fact if you don't have a dog to walk they will lend you one.  They have all the bases covered for this event.
