With the recent emphasis upon the Olympics, I could not help but compare the continuous events with life as we know it.
Every day we get up and prepare to go forward and do our best.
Our daily events are geared toward helping others. The better we do it, the more rewards we gain.
Although there are not gold or silver medals to be awarded, we do certainly obtain the thrill of success. We are also allowed to make a living doing what we enjoy.
The more we practice, the better we do. The more skills we add to the programs, the quicker we attain the goals.
The more we learn to delegate chores to our trusted team, the more we can accomplish, and the more people we can help.
No one can do it all. No one is always number one.
Just like life, our business is a group effort and the more cooperation we foster, the better. Our rewards are directly affected by our skills, attitudes and the amount of time we devote to working and learning.
In a lot of ways, life IS a contest every day! Winning may not be everything, but it beats whatever is second.
