Seller Preparedness - Like the Armed Forces.
Seller Preparedness - Like the Armed Forces. I never was in the military, I have to admit it but I have had past armed forces people work for me in corporate life. They are methodical, follow the process
and tend not to waive too far left or right on decision making but use good tactical thinking. Armed Forces being ready should equal seller preparedness.
When dealing with waterfront Rhode Island real estate and the necessary qualifications for seller preparedness, the military has some similarities especially with the lenders. And that matters why? Because the buyers you want to buy your home have to endure the lenders scrutiny. Best case is to find a cash buyer for your home for sale but that may not be possible. Sometimes buyers may have no idea how to proceed, have noone to guide them and your real estate agent may end up being the guider.
In the past, buyer guidance has been placing a 'sign in the yard' and a 'newspaper' ad in the past. Realize that the biggest part of seller preparedness is pricing right and preparing your home to selling condition! Let the real estate agent who knows how to market for your home and showcase it on their web site, social media sites and promoted well via open houses do their thing.
Be the home in the neighborhood that stands out and make that curb appeal jump out at any buyer. Be 'open' to Open Houses because they do sell homes. Work with your Realtor because guess what? They only get paid IF they sell your home!
So you see it is seller preparedness – and it is like the Armed Forces.
Yes, being prepared makes the whole difference in buying your Rhode Island real estate home. And yes, I welcome all Armed Forces families to reach out to me if they are interested in truly selling their home or in need of a buyers agent.
