Just like last year, here we are at the end of August and my phone and email is going crazy. Many buyers are coming through Del Norte County and standing in front of my listings. Others are looking at them on the Internet. Both kinds are asking:
"TELL ME MORE ABOUT XYZ PROPERTY."
Even though I try to put most of the information that is pertinent on the websites including photos and videos, buyers want MORE.
And I give them more like what is being built in the area, stores and restaurants existing or opening up, and anything else I can think of. They are excited, they want MORE.
Partly this phenomena happens because this time of the year is so absolutely gorgeous up here in Northern California at the Oregon border. The ocean sparkles, the beaches are miles long, the redwood trees are tall, the traffic minimal, Smith River kayakable, and the locals friendly.
Everyone is in a good mood.
But trumping everthing else for my real estate brokerage, the buyers are serious. We even got an offer on a piece of property sight unseen.
They are even flying into our local airport with their own airplanes.
When it gets hot in the interior up and down I-5 such as Roseburg or Grants Pass, Oregon or Redding and Shasta, California we get an influx of serious buyers. Today even from Central California.
This all bodes well for fall closings just like last year.
