Speechless Sunday - What Do You Call A "Flock" Of Butterflies?
At the end of my Open House today, I was closing the back door and noticed a swarm or flock or whatever it's called of all of these beautiful butterflies around the seller's bush. I was frantically trying to take photos of as many of the butterflies as possible. I didn't get them all before the rain came, but I sure got quite a few of them. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed be surrounded by them.

It's amazing how many different varieties or species of butterflies there were in that herd, Melissa! I have no idea what you would call a congregation of so many of them. Flock - Herd - Pod - Swarm. Even a Google search for the proper collective nown, was a little uncertain. WikiAnswers gravitated toward "SWARM" as possibly correct.
