Original Source: East Bethesda MD 20814 Homes for Sale 9/7/12
Update for the week of 9/7/2012. Three new listings! One under contract. No price drops. The market remains competitive, with homes getting scooped up in a matter of days. Those above the $1-million mark take a little longer than the starter homes.
All the homes in this article are currently for sale within East Bethesda. The top of the list features the newest listings, while the bottom showcases those that have been on the market for quite some time. I'll be updating this post every Friday, so be sure to check back to see what's new, what's gone, & what might be coming (and check out the date up top... if it's not current, neither is this information!). I've lived in East Bethesda for over 17 years. I've sold real estate in East Bethesda for over 12 years. It's a wonderful neighborhood within walking distance of two metro stops AND downtown Bethesda. While all of this information is available to you on the various search engines (and please keep in mind that these are not all of my own listings), I've taken the time to inject my opinion on the condition, pricing, and likelihood of each property selling... or not. I hope you'll give me a call if you have any questions. I have loved living here over the years, and I want to share it with other enthusiastic people!

25 Kentbury Way, $1,649,000 First showing is on Sunday, so I've yet to see it. This has been an East Bethesda favorite of mine since it went up in 2005. The gardens are gorgeous, and it's perched up on a hill overlooking the neighborhood. Absolutely charming. If the interior lives up to the exterior, this house should sell quickly. 4BR/4FB and a 4-car garage! Days on Market: 1
8505 Halston Way, $979,000 We haven't had a townhouse available in a while. This one features 3BR/2FB/2HB, a granite and cherry kitchen, and a deck out back. 2-car garage. Hardwood flooring. Easy walk to NIH-Medical Center metro, not to mention the new Walter Reed. Days on Market: 14303 Rosedale Avenue, $799,000 This one started off as a 3BR rambler... the second story addition (2004?) brings that total up to 5 BRs. 3 full baths. Hardwood flooring and an open floor plan. Pretty wood deck out back. Magnificent, large lot with lots of sunshine (despite being surrounded by trees). No basement. Pretty picture window. I think it might be a tad overpriced, but with low inventory, time will surely tell. Days on Market: 3
4514 Chestnut Street, $1,389,000 New construction by Crescendo Builders. 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. Situated on a block with a lot of big new houses. This house has a surprising amount of space. Great layout. Nice features. Short walk to Lynbrook Park and Metro. Days on Market: 8
4548 Windsor Lane, TBD
New construction by Georgetown Custom Homes. Believed to have 6BR/4FB/1HB, but there's still time to customize certain elements. Give me a call if you would like more details. Not officially on the market.
4323 Maple Avenue, $799,000 1949 rambler with some updates. Open floor plan with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main level. Another bedroom and bath to be found on the lower level. Convenient location. New deck. Big attic. Price remains ambitious. Days on Market: 72
4611 Chase Avenue, $1,695,000 New construction on a very large lot. 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. Quick 10-minute walk to metro and downtown Bethesda. Little park just down the block. Pizza, computer help, taekwondo and CVS within spitting distance. Days on Market: 84
4422 Rosedale Avenue, $1,399,000 5 BR/4.5BA. New construction/older house to be torn down. On one of the smaller lots, so probably not much of a yard. 1-car garage. Days on Market: 140
4524 Windsor Lane, $1,470,463 Strange little price tag on this puppy. I always wonder why they do that? Superstition? Lucky number? Who knows. New construction, which has yet to start. 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths. Multiple floor plans available. Days on Market: 194
