What You do Today, Can and Will,
Affect you 90 Days from now.
Loreena Yeo posted a challenge last month that is designed to kick start our business in 2013. What a great, thought provoking challenge. The idea is to build "Top of Mind Awareness" with our clients.
This got me thinking... Where does my business come from? Where do I want it to come from? and Are these two answers the Same? Hmmm, I said.
It's probably safe to say that most of us preferred to get repeat business from past clients and referrals from our Circle of Influence.
But since I've started blogging, I've noticed how much I enjoy working with the people who find me on-line. When they contact me, they already know me and have decided they like me. It's MINE to mess up when we finally meet.
Almost exactly 2 years ago I started marketing to a specific market. I researched neighborhoods that would fit this market and blogged about them. I can safely say that this market niche and my past clients have kept me afloat through this personally trying year.
So back to the challenge. The 3 things that I will do this fall to build my business for 2013 are...
1. I will expand my writing about why Middle Tennessee is the best place to Retire! I will cover more neighborhoods that cater to the 55 and older Active Adults looking for a place to retire.
I will offer suggestions on what to look for when looking to retire to a new area.
2. I will send a Thanksgiving letter to my past clients and COI. This is always a great time to connect with people I sometimes only mail to annually. This year I am especially thankful for those people in my life that bring me joy and laughter. I want them to know that.
3. I will personally call each of clients and all of my ActiveRain Subscribers to wish them a joyous Holiday. There's nothing like the touch of a phone call. Bonding with my AR friends will help my referrals to continue to increase year over year.
I've gotten so excited about these goals for the final quarter of 2012, I've already started working on them!
I'm preparing several blog posts and leaving them in Draft to be able to spread them out over the next few weeks.
