About DC Condos 

The Bernstein Companies will construct a 404-unit, three-building residential project in Southwest's Town Center area bordered by K, M and Third streets, adjacent to Sky House. Town Center Condominiums will incorporate an 11-story building facing M Street and a second 11-story building facing K Street. The third building will be only 3 stories and will be located between the two existing towers,  which are deemed "historically significant,” as they were designed by architect I.M. Pei. 

Bernstein's three new buildings will reuse space now occupied by two parking lots.

Town Center Condominiums (referred to as 'apartments' by some reports but listed as condominiums on Bernstein's website) are expected to be a combination of efficiencies, 1 and 2 BR units.  The mixed-use project will offer ground floor retail, underground parking and just over 22k SF of open space. Total of 404 total residential units, 128 of which are apartment conversions and 20% of the total will be ADUs (Affordable Dwelling Units).  Maurice Walter Architects will design.

Town Center Condominiums is well placed among large-scale new development projects in various stages of completion:

• Waterfront Metro (completed) is just to the west of the project site
• The new Waterfront Safeway (completed) is close by 
• Arena Stage (completed) is 3 blocks from Town Center Condos
