Lobster Pit restaurant in Ormond By The Sea Florida has closed
The Lobster Pit restaurant in Ormond By The Sea Florida at 1760 Ocean Shore Blvd. has closed. You can no longer enjoy the ocean view and breezes while you sample frozen ice cream treats and Maine lobster rolls at the picnic tables on the grounds. The property is now again available for lease.
Al This sounds like it was a great place, so sad, good luck with your business in 2012/2013, E
Good morning, Al.... those small take out places are the best.... we have a few here and they make the best fried clams in the summer....
That's too bad that this establishment had to close its doors but maybe something better will pop up...maybe by the same owners...
Hi Al,
The new people who lease the place needs to get in for a reasonable fee.
If not they will close as well.
People who lease a lot of properties tend to want too much when it comes to a lease.
Best of luck in Ormond by the sea.
Best, Clint McKie
Thank you for stopping by to read my blog and to comment this morning Ed, Barbara, Larry & Sheila and Clint, I appreciate your comments and support. Have a great day.
Ed, thanks, yes businesses that close is never a good thing.
Barbara, thanks, yes sometimes the small places have great food.
Larry & Sheila, thanks, yes we can only hope for something good to take it's place.
Clint, thanks, yes a high rent will surely hurt a business.
Hi Al. That's too bad. It's not good for anyone to see a small business close. The property presents an opportunity though, for someone to get a great new place going.
Al,
I hate seeing local business like this one closing. The location sounds wonderful. You have to wonder what it takes to make money these days.
Good Morning AL, It is sad to see the economy still hurting small business. I am hoping things get better in a huge way after the election. Have a great Sunday
