It is me again, Gayle,
Beautiful photos.. You have a gift of making simple things look like treasure.
Thanks for sharing.
Laura~So glad you do! (I love Speechless Sundays for the simplicity factor).
Rose~don't we BOTH love our Canons??!
William~I have many photos I took of this through the four days there, and need to spend the time to put together my sunrise/sunset and in-between photos, but to show the massiveness of this rock, here is a comparison with a boat in front:
KG/GF~YOU ARE THE BEST!!! OMG, you're gonna be HERE soon! Cannon Beach, Rockaway, Pirate's Cove and (of course) Fishhawk Lake--here you come!!!
Larry, Australia? I sure would LOVE to travel there and get photos....lucky YOU!
Roger, now I finally get to meet one of your AR peeps that you've been lucky enough to have on your lap!!!
Sharon, wish you were here--someday, SOMEDAY!
Kristin, you have that same kind of spirit, missy!
Don, I could arrange that, doncha know...
Tatyana, that is one of the most wonderful compliments a person could receive about their photos...thank you so much.
Tony, I always love your enthusiasm!
I loved the tribute Kris wrote about you today my friend... and your pic made me smile and think about something I said the last time we were together... Girlfriends ROCK at Fishhawk!!! See you girls tomorrow =))) Can't wait!
Just subscribed to your blog Gayle, wonderful photos and this incredible rock jutting out of the sea reminds me of a whale jumping out of the water-enjoy your own private meet-up with your AR girlfriends.
The sunsets on the left side are always special and that photo demonstrates that. Thanks for sharing
Mel~we'll be ROCKIN' and ROLLIN' at the lake--can't wait to give you a big ole hug!
Joanna-THANK YOU! And of course, accolades are to be given to my great friend, Kris Ginsberg for her marvelous post that sent you my way!
Ed~so you've been to our side of the country for sunsets, huh? Welome, back--if only virtually.
Gayle
Love the rock and the proportion to the boat...Enjoy the week with all those power houses. A
love the sunset, but I LOVE the boat photo more. WOW. I've only seen a tiny bit out west and have got to get up to the NW corner of the country one of these days.
Gayle: I just hit on your blog due to the featured post. Love the photo, and your photos on the featured post, too!
OK, the size of that 'rock' doesn't really make sense until you show the other one with the boat in front of it. Good grief! Have a great time with Kristine and the other girls this week :)
Sharon
Alexandra, that's why I put in that photo, to really show the magnitude of this rock!
Tammy, I do too....
Melissa, thanks for becoming a subscriber, too!
Tiffany, so glad you're enjoying the photos and that you became a subscriber!
Sharon, uh huh--that boat makes a difference, doesn't it??!! We are gonna have MAJOR FUN.
Wow! Great shot and the photo is beautiful! "A sunset to remember" is a perfect description for it. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week ahead.
Ms. Ambassador:
It looks like you had a great time. What incredible colors! I cannot believe how big that rock actually is.
Kerry
