If you have ever tried to separate an egg white from yolk, you know it can be a messy job.  The below video shows you how EASY it is to separate an egg white from yolk by using an empty plastic bottle.

WOW how easy and clever.... now all you aspiring chefs will never have a problem separating the egg white from the yolk.  I can’t wait to try it.

Thanks for the big smile on my face, Rebecca!  Who knew?  Actually, I think separating eggs is only a problem because people think it is hard to do.... for me it's really simple.  I crack the egg and pour it into my hand... I let the whites filter through into one bowl and I'm left with the yolk to be placed in another bowl.

Rebecca,

That's a GREAT idea!

Once upon a time, I had an egg separater that looked like a measuring cup with holes around the bottom of the cup to let the white seep out. I forgot all about it. The water bottle does the same thing and it's disposable! I love it.

Rebecca, great idea, but I have a yellow plastic spoon with slots, and the yoke stays in the spoon, and the whites falls off.  Very easy!

I just use the shell to separate the yellow from the white but this looks interesting. I wonder how many eggs it takes till you get it down pat :)
