Doing It For The Right Reason

As we reflect on the impact that Martin Luther King, Jr has had on society, we must ask ourselves why are we in this emotional roller coaster of an industry called real estate? I have been given many answers and excuses such as the money is good, flexible schedule, etc... Let's not forget that we have fiduciary duties to the consumer and their needs are to be first.

I have been told by many in this industry that they do whatever it takes to the get the transaction done and they will go to all extremes to facilitate a deal. When I hear this, I have to wonder who's interest they are serving.

As one who has been around long enough to remember what life was like before Martin Luther King Jr, I  see daily the huge impact his efforts have produced. Our society is less than perfect, but with continued efforts of caring people like you and me I have high hopes for the future.
