Crop Walk Fundraiser to help fight hunger.

people walking The Lewisburg United Methodist Church and other churches in the Lewisburg area will be walking to help fight hunger in our community and in the world on October 14, 2012.

The Crop Walk is a fundraiser to support the Lewisburg and Ronceverte Food Lockers. In addition, a significant percentage of the money raised will help alleviate hunger needs elsewhere in the US and in the world. The walk begins at 1:00 pm.

There is a short walk of one mile that is the loop around Church and Court Streets. The longer walk is 5k or 3.1 miles around Lewisburg. Participants are asked to do three things: pray, support financially, and walk. Registration packets can be obtained at the Lewisburg United Methodist Church office.
