If you ever get a chance to visit Lexington and enjoy American history, I highly recommend the Museum of our National Heritage.

The museum in located in Lexington, MA and has free admission and parking seven days a week.  Exhibits change often so one visit is never enough.

The exhibits tell stories of America including patriotism, adventure, invention and community and how we, as Americans, have worked, played, struggled and achieved.

From July through October, the museum has an hour and a half bus tour of the historic Battle Road.

Martin, I have some great memories from my childhood of visiting the National Heritage Museum in Lexington on many occasions.  They always have some wonderful exhibits about the great history of our country.  They're also operated by the Northern Jurisdiction of the Scottish Rite Masons and have some background information about Masonry.  My father also used to take me to the Revolutionary War Battle reenactments in Lexington and Concord.

One of the best things about growing up in Massachusetts was the Revolutionary War history that was all around. We took many field trips to Lexington and Concord. I'll have to check out the museum the next time we travel up north.

Martin,

I've been there.  It is really one of the finer museums in the area.  Free also helps!
