Real Estate Slower in the Winter Months? It May be Your Choice!

Every year I hear some of my fellow real estate agents speak in a matter-of-fact tone and profess that their business is "just dead in the slower fall and winter months!". Really?

It seems to me that if the majority of real estate agents think this way, or accept this as an inevitable fact that they cannot change, then there is a significant opportunity in the marketplace for those willing to plan for growth and act on their plan!

There is simply no reason at all that an ambitious person cannot work harder, stay focused and plan for growth in their business during the fall and winter months. First of all, you'll most certainly pick up new buyer and seller clients from your efforts. Secondly, you'll be planting the seeds worth following up with by the time the early spring season gets busy!

I believe that those real estate sales agents who embrace this mentality will be pleasantly surprised at how much they can grow their client base and business at a time when most of their competition is simply "hibernating" for the winter!
