Reblogger Laura Cerrano

Richard and Beth shine a bright lighr in the midst of Hurricane Sandy here. If you must take cover, do so and count it as a great blessing to be able to do so. If you should lose marterial items, be grateful for your life, etc.

Thanks for the post, guys! Blessings!

Love and light,

Here in the North East most of us await the arrival of  "Sandy" with fearful thoughts and we share these thoughts with those in our lives with our words. Knowing that words are things and what we think about we bring about.

I can not re-call how many times in the past few days I have heard how awful this storm will be... how dangerous it is... how massive it is.... how much damage it will do.... she is a monster... the worse storm since 1939... the last time we saw anything like this was never....we can even receive up to four feet of snow... etc, etc, etc

Few have spoken of anything else and all are concerned for their safety and the safety of their loved ones...

I sincerely appreciate the great advice we have gotten about how to prepare for this "Sandy"  but enough is enough...

I say: "Come if you must Sandy"... Let me see the wonders of you and let me fear not for the Lord is with me and the only thing I have to fear is fear itself...

Today I choose to listen to Moses "Do not be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today." Exodus 14:13

Today I choose to pay particular attention to the words of Hans Selye: "Nothing erases unpleasant thoughts more effectively than concentration on pleasant ones."

So as Sandy passes I will fear not....  I will certainly listen to Governor Chris Christy, "don't be stupid"... and then I will spend lots of time paying attention to all in my life that is good and wonderful...  I will stay relaxed... I will enjoy this New Day... And as always I will look with wonder at all that is around me...

With or without "Sandy" I will make this New Day a Beautiful day...

This New Day is a wonderful day to "Pay particular attention to what we think about knowing with certainty that what we think about we bring about."

HAPPY DAY MY FRIENDS!
