Kansas City JOB Openings – Hundreds of Jobs in the Kansas City Area

Jobs are everywhere! While the national news reports even higher unemployment news across the country, Kansas City is doing well with the job market. There are businesses – both public and private - actively looking to hire local people from the Metropolitan Kansas City area.

The latest news is that the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will be adding 800 new jobs – 500 in the Overland Park area in a newly lease space, and 300 at the existing location in Lee’s Summit.The Kansas City Business Journal shares the details.

FreightQuote.com will be bringing, or hiring 1,200 employees to work on the Missouri side of the state line. This company will be building their facility in south Kansas City just south of I-435 near Wornall Rd. While the company is just moving from Lenexa, Kansas, they will be also be adding new jobs in the future. The local and state elected officials offered special incentives to get the business to move forward with this location.

Car dealer, Hendrick Nissan Kansas City, is adding 20 jobs now that they've moved into their new, larger space. Their goal is to be the number one car dearship in 2013. Check out the details about their new exciting expansion.

There’s even a website, called CEOBullpen.com, promoting over 40 jobs at about 20 local startup companies. The positions range from full-time to interships, and are listed here.
