Austin entrepreneur Michael Kupka quit his job a couple years ago and launched a company that’s developed three technology products, including one designed to enable parents to monitor their children’s activities and whereabouts via smartphones.
Gizmoquip LLC developed the SMSTracker, a software program designed for Android devices a year ago and now projected to reach one million downloads before the end of the year. The company is projected to generate more than $1 million in revenue, Kupka said.
The SMSTracker application is designed to monitor text messages, photos, multimedia messages, locations, phone calls and browsing history, among other smartphone functions. .
