Today in St Louis - January 27, 2008

Weather was beautiful today.  I showed a property at 1:00 to a new buyer.  The building was vacant and the heat had been turned off.  It was warmer outside than it was in the building.  I don't understand why sellers (and this seller is a Realtor/Owner) turn the heat off in the buildings they are trying to sell.  I know they are trying to save on heating costs, but at least keep the temerature at 45-50 degrees, not completely off.   The sellers had patched and painted walls, but because of the cold, all the cracks have reopened.  Any patching they have done will have to be redone.  That will cost more than if they just kept the temperature constant.  It's hard on buildings to remain vacant...

I just created a Voki.  I saw this on another person's web site and thought it was pretty cool.  So I tried creating one myself.  It's pretty easy to create, but I don't really know how to upload to my sites.  We'll see if it works...

Sad things like that happen in the heat as well.  Those in AZ, or Palm Springs should always leave the AC on at 80 degrees maybe 82 degrees or cabinet wood cracks etc...

I didn't realize about the cold. Thanks for the update.

Okay, Tim, I had never heard of a voki before reading your post... went to check out yours but I have to admit, I still don't get it. How do you plan on using this? It's been a long week for me - perhaps I'm missing something BIG?? <G>

Hi Debbie, Thanks for the comment.  The Voki is just for fun.  I was going to place it on the sidebar of my blog page, but can't figure out how to embed it in the page...

Tim -

I can help with that. Copy the code for your Voki, then past your code into your Blog Description:

Your Home Page on AR --> My Settings --> Blog Description

Save your work and you should be all set!
