New Mexico Political Icon Laid to Rest
Ben Lujan, former New Mexico House Speaker was laid to rest in his hometown of Nambe, New Mexico on Saturday, December 29, 2012 where hundreds turned out to pay their last respect to him.
Ben Lujan served 38 years in the New Mexico House of Representative with the last 12 as the Speaker of the House. He has definitely left his mark on the on the state.
A family man, he was married for 50 years, and was very well liked by his community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to His family. may he Rest In Peace.
