Back Bay Boston MAFirst Time Home Buyers Guide to What you want. A first time home buyers guide to what you want starts with paper and pen, leads through the internet and ends up with you getting exactly what you want for a price you will love. Real Estate is a process and those who understand the process, focus on what they want and can afford and work with a professional who listens and can deliver that to you.  The best agents listen more than they talk.  They ask questions, they provide you with information that is helpful and provides insight that you can understand.

Price, neighborhood, schools, community, quality of life are all key ingredients to a great first time home buyer experience.  Loan programs, need for attorney’s to help you with contracts, understanding of heating and cooling systems, construction, electrical and plumbing are all part of what a great agent studies.  They may not know each and every answer to your questions, but they will always get you that answer in a timely fashion and to your satisfaction.

The new worldDon’t settle for less as a first time home buyer. Get exactly what you want by knowing the differences between good and great.  Not all agents are created equal so talk to more than one. Ask them about the process.  Pay attention to whether they are listening  to your answers or not. An agent who does not listen and respond to your concerns and questions is an agent to run from.  Your first time home buyers experience should be great. Expect that and ask the right questions.

If you have any questions feel free to ask me anything. I am happy to help you whether you are my client or not.  My only goal is to build better communities and neighborhoods.  If you are looking for a Boston Area Move In Home I can help you. This is a First Time Home Buyers Guide to What you want.

@Debbie, thank you.  I did it while I was getting an oil change.

@Connie I am really more of a listing agent, but I am happy to work with anyone and thank you for the compliment.

First time home buyers often don't know what they want, and a good agent can help them with that too, by not letting them bite off more than they can chew.

"I listen for a living." It's all about you.

I think First Time Home Buyers always have at least one idea of what they want. They will want a town, or a price range, or a school district, or a house style, condo type. They will always have something that they are working on  using all the free search tools.  Our jobs as professionals is to understand their ultimate goal by listening to their story and seeing the way they are searching. From there you are so right, Georgina, good agents can help them get what they want and live with it.
