After doing this 'real estate thing' full time over the last 8 years one thing I am absolutely 100% For sure about is that to do this job well and keep a never ending supply of buyer and/or sellers in the pipeline you MUST have a system. All over the internet there are people and companies trying to sell agents a system or lead generation system or web seo etc... I have my own system and I like to believe it is a GREAT SYSTEM, however I have seen enough to know that there are MANY Systems and all are successful.
Do you want to know what the secret is? The answer is so easy it begs the question, ' why doesn't everyone do this?' The answer you see is "Work The System". Nike said it best when they ran the tag line "Just Do It". Plain and simple, you have put a system in place now work it to the bone! Work it "off and on" and your career will be 'off and on' but work it every day and add to it, build on it and your career will flourish. There is NO BAD MARKET if you work a winning system.
Lead generation could be quite costly and if you are not working a system correctly and efficiently it is just money down the drain. Leads are great but they will become someone else's transaction if you don't have the systems in place to retain the pipeline and keep them focused with YOU!
My System consists of a website with lead capture, a blog which I work on EVERY DAY, Social Networking, Automatic Emails and a Touch Base System for personally touching each lead.
