I have been approached by several active rain members lately that thought I should really become more active on the site as they felt my contribution could add to what was missing on here.... Credit Education. So I signed up for a Rainmaker account and I am ready to go. This is pretty new for me as I am just learning more about Active Rain and blogging!
Credit Education: The fact is credit is extremely complex, whether it be credit reporting or credit scoring, and almost every financial or credit professional I meet can't even answer simple questions about credit correctly. There is so much misinformation out there even on trusted websites about how credit works and our mission has been to increase financial literacy and credit education around the country. I have recently been writing a lot and I have actually found myself to enjoy it. My goal is to start blogging about common or even uncommon credit questions that many consumers have or any active rain users have. Please comment or reach out to me if there are any questions relating to credit that you might have and I can write create a blog post answering your questions. I have conducted seminars all around the country for mortgage and real estate companies and last year I consulted with the CFPB, the FTC, the House Financial Services Committee, and many important congressional staffers in Washington D.C. both on behalf of my company CRE Credit Services and NACSO (National Association of Credit Services Organizations).
About Me: I am married to an amazing woman and have two dogs. I live in Allen, TX which you may have heard is the home of the the country's most expensive high school football stadium.
