Have you eaten at the Springs Orleans yet? The Springs Orleans , which opened in 2011, is an award winning restaurant in the historic downtown Colorado Springs. It serves both local favorites and Cajun cuisine.
The atmosphere has a very classy New Orlean's feel. It is relaxing. The food is great and the service is very good. The Springs Orleans is a great place to meet friends, to have a nice evening with your spouse or to entertain business clients.
The Springs Orleans was:
· Voted BEST Cajun Restaurant - Colorado Springs Gazette 2012
· 1st Place 2012 Annual Mumbo Jumbo Gumbo Cook Off
· Voted Colorado Springs BEST Cajun / Southern Restaurant - CS Independent 2011
· Voted Best NEW Restaurant of 2011 by Springs Style Magazine
The Cajun food at Springs Orleans is great. They have all of the favorites that you would expect.
However, they serve the best mashed potatoes in Colorado. Their deserts are extremely good also.
Some people I know go just for the deserts. My favorite....the southern style banana pudding.
I never really thought about trying to take pictures of food until I had dinner at the Springs Orleans. Food is harder to photograph than I would have thought.
The Springs Orleans is located at CO 80903 betweenThe Mining Exchange –A Wyndam Grand Hotel and the Pikes Peak Theater. Parking is available on the street, in a paid lot almost across the street and in the parking garage just around the corner.
