Hey Jay! The Real Estate Market Is Booming.

Almost every night before I turn in, I tune in to Jay Leno. My husband loves to catch the monologue and especially likes Headlines and Police Blotter.

We were watching Jay Leno this past week and he had a segment on where the audience does a special trick and gets a free dinner. One of the audience guests was from Goodyear, Arizona. He did something with a golf club and a golf ball. He won a free dinner as a result of his trick. As Jay was handing the gentleman his gift certificate, he told him that he was sure he needed the free dinner because he wasn’t selling any houses.

Come on Jay! I know you stay on top of current events. Did you miss the section of the news that talks about the recovering real estate market and how it is a seller’s market?

I did a little research about the real estate market in Goodyear Arizona and found that inventory is low and prices are much higher than they were this time last year. As a Realtor, it tells me that our golf ball bouncing Realtor is most likely very busy in Goodyear Arizona.

So come on Jay Leno, get with the program. Real Estate is alive and thriving in the great USA.

Hi Belinda, Some parts of the country are not back yet so I guess it depends where he was from. I hear from my friends in less populated areas that they are still struggling. The recovery is hitting the metropolises first. For instance we are not booming. Our market is the same as summer of last year and the last quarter it plummeted. But I have high hopes for the future. Just saying...

Hi Belinda -- that Realtor from Goodyear AZ had the perfect opportunity for a comeback to Jay -- I'm with Dick Greenberg let Jay go to Fox and bring on Jimmy Fallon --- it's a change long overdue. Of course, Jimmy needs to come to Burbank -- otherwise, I'll just stay tuned to Jimmy Kimmel(who I think is coming out as the winner these days in the late night competition).

Didn't hear Jimmy Fallon was taking it over, don't watch too much of it. Wondering how that would be worthy of five hours a week? Not such a fan of Fallons endorsements. Leno is harmless, ignorant on many things, but people have come to realize this truth.

Amen to that. It's like someone opened a gate and buyers are now finally, really ready to buy. I just closed a cash deal on Friday, put one listing under contract and got an offer in another listing. All in one week. That's really busy for my rural area. Another agent in my office is just as busy. My broker is sitting back and watching all the energy we are generating with a smile on his face.

Even the news commentators need to update their real estate data. That is my two cents.
