Very high pollen counts and Tammy is down and out...

You've heard damned if you do and damned if you don't...

Well sometimes it's true.  Yesterday and today were two of those times.  Last night at dinner my Donald was frustrated because he can't breathe with all the pollen and me, I just had a really bad headache from it.  I'm not sure what he took, but I took Advil a couple of times yesterday to knock the rough edges off this headache.

So while my headache had eased off a little when I went to bed, the advil had made my tummy hurt.  I was up on and off all night with alka seltzer.  Not much sleep and this morning the headache is back.  Seems as I get older allergies are worse each year.

I will say that one of my agents said... "you don't feel good, go home", so after I got an extension typed up and signed and emailed out to the other agent, I did just that.  I have a big pot of chicken and dumplings on for dinner.  I even changed the filter on the furnace blower.  I think I am gonna have to invest in a full house air filtration system.  And I just checked my pollencast for the next few days at weather.com and it doesn't look good for the next few days.  Hard to believe I want rain, but please rain, bring it on, wash away all the oak pollen.

Spring always bring high pollen counts to Lake Sinclair.  And everyone thinks it's that yellow pine pollen that you can see that bothers you, but chances are it is not.  In fact I think I might let my Donald cut down all the trees on one side of the front yard and replace them with fruit trees.  They have less pollen.

I cannot even imagine, Tammy. I am very fortunate not to have allergies. My sister-in-law does and to see her suffer through the summer months until that first freeze -- ugh...just feel awful for her. I hope you and Donald feel better soon!

Wow, those are high numbers.  Boy, if it is not one thing knocking us off our game, it is something else, wishing you lower pollen numbers soon and wishes for a quick recovery.

Tammy

A high pollen count can put you down for the count.

Good luck and success.

Tammy - I use the liquid gel caps from any brand that is advertised for a migraine.  They seem to be easier on the stomach and do a better job on the headache.  Feel better soon!

Well the chicken and dumplins and a couple of hours snuggling with Donald on the sofa and I'm feeling much better.  But is it really on Thursday?

I have a wicked cat allergy and I am finding that as I get older, it is getting really bad.  I'm going to start asking if they have cats before I can come over for a listing interview.

I'm feeling your pain... kiddo!  I had the worst headache two days ago (when the sun came out and the wind kicked up) and I downed a couple of aleve, which didn't seem to do a bit of good.  Rest, fluids and Pinterest made me smile ;-)  Hope you're both feeling up to par soon!

Tammy,

Just think of all those people wishing Winter was over. I'm surprised at the number of allergy sufferers I encounter.
