Is the Weatherman Just Teasing US?
One warm day, two cold days. One sunny day, two or three cloudy days. And today it is sunny but COLD. What's with the weatherman's forecast this year?
However, I found several crocuses that snuck up over night.

Good Morning Mary, I think it is spring time, Denver opening day for baseball today and it is 70 and sunny.
Mary, I do hope that you will finally get some nice warm Spring weather! That is a lot of snow!
The thing about Crocus that I love, is the fact they manage to pop up on the earliest of spring days, even under the most dire of circumstance. I have them growing in an area of my yard, and always look forward to their blossoms each year.
I wore a jacket to the office this morning. VERY RARE to do this in March or April in Louisiana.
Thanks, Tony & Darcy. The sun is still shining brightly but still rather cool. Weatherman is promising warmer temps tomorrow, but he has been wrong before.
Myrl, you are right about crocuses. However, here they a bit behind schedule because it has been 15-20 degrees below normal. Maybe tomorrow . . .
Doug, it is cold in Louisiana I can better understand why we are so cold up here along the lakes. Brr! I don't even feel like walking this evening.
"Weatherman" is the only job in the world where you can be totally wrong most of the time, and still get paid and keep your job!
Mary, I have 3 tulips and am shocked because I didn't think they would bloom in 40-50 degree weather. Very strange.
What I love is the four seasons...sometimes we have all four in the same day. Happy day whatever the weather.
Mary, that is springtime in Colorado too, one day a foot of snow, two days later 70 degrees, two later rain & clouds. My crocus are finished, now the hyacinths are blooming, and daffodils and tulips are not fall behind!
Fred, I really love your comment about the weatherman's job. Wonder what his job approval rating might be?
Debbie, enjoy each one. At this time of year new life is so precious. I just did an inventory of my yard looking for new spirts of growth since yesterday. Each day I see a few more.
Margaret--you are so right about four seasons in one day on occassion, especially in spring and fall. Enjoy!
Joan, wow, your season is quite a bit ahead of ours along Lake Erie. We have this giant melting ice cube that keeps the temps down. I saw nasty storms in mid-section of country tomorrow. Hope your area is calm.
Thanks Mary for that added touch of Spring. We are going through the same weather as you and we've had enough already!! (Til the dog days of August that is!)
Al & Peggy, sunny today but so windy. I wanted to go for long walk, but decided to do a little yard work then short walk in woods where it is not as windy.
Now those dog days will have us complaining, too.
Mary, yep, more snow coming our way, but think it won't be a foot this time. We could use the moisture, still down a foot or two of snow for the year. We are already on water restrictions, guess they are expecting a dry one this year. Hope that giant ice cube melts soon and temps start climbing and you can enjoy some warm weather!
Joan, guess more snow is good from moisture view point. Last year we only got half the snow we normally get and much less rain than normal spring through fall. We made up for the lack (of moisture) during the late fall and all winter. Oh well, can't control the weather, but we can complain.
Hi Mary, I am enjoying and accepting the idea that spring may not get here until sometime in June this year, we still have quite a bit of snow around here, and just got another six inches on Saturday. It could surprise me and all melt today but I am not counting on it.

It is in the 80's in our area today. Beautiful day for our trip to Virginia to attend Lenn Harley's meet up in Lovettsville.
