You have probably heard the expression of don't take life so seriously, none of us get out alive. On Thankful Thursday I am reminded that gratitude is a key component of happiness so don't be one of those people with scowls on your face that the sky is falling all the time even if it is a difficult or trying time.
What I thought of for ME that I am thankful for, and I hope you have it too, or work on re-discovering it, is CHILD LIKE WONDER. NEVER losing that child within you, EVEN IF you are fully grown as an adult and make those mature decisions about life and business and choices of what to do next every day.
Child like wonder lets you laugh more often than not during stressful times and even to frame your perspective in such a way that you can say you can look over a field of dandelions and either see a hundred weeds or a hundred wishes. I prefer the latter.
To assist you in this quest of finding again YOUR CHILD, the bottled water company Evian has a new commercial called Dancing With My Baby-Me. Your child is in there, just let him or her express themself with JOY now and then. JUST DANCE!!
