What may be a very difficult time for one person comes more easily to another. It is the time that is not best for making decisions when emotional turmoil reigns...and yet....sometimes it IS the time when decisions have to be made. What can be a traumatic decision or change for one person is not for another. The sudden change in circumstances can bring a wave of emotion that clouds thinking and blurs memory.
We have learned during these times....the best friend you can have when you are going to the lawyer, doctor, insurance expert.....and yes...Realtor....or lender...when something is being explained that an emotionally charged mind may not remember word for word....bring a tape recorder...or phone that records the conversation.
The directions, options, proposals, treatments will be recorded for later review ...comparison...decision...reference. It is the safety net...the assurance, insurance at a time when things may be too overwhelming to recall later.
No professional will object....and the situation will always be "remembered" as presented....for the piece of mind that may not reign at the time.
