The 28th Season of the TGIF Jazz in the Park Starts June 28, 2013 in Carlsbad CA
One of the highlights of the summer in Carlsbad, and the best entertainment options in the area is just around the corner.
The 28th season of Carlsbad’s popular TGIF Jazz in the Parks series starts June 28, 2013. This concert series, presented by the City of Carlsbad’s Cultural Arts Office, continues on 9 consecutive Fridays in 3 beautiful Carlsbad parks, with 3 concerts in a row in each park.
The TGIF Jazz in the Parks concert series is always well attended, with several thousand enjoying the great outdoors, beautiful Carlsbad summer weather, al fresco dinner on chairs and blankets, and a wide range of live music. Concerts run from 6 – 8 with an intermission and are FREE!

The quality of the bands is always excellent and no doubt this year will be as well..
Because of the crowds and parking, be sure to arrive early to find parking in the surrounding neighborhood areas. There is plenty of dancing, some food options if you don’t bring your own, and lots of raffle prizes sponsored by the Carlsbad Friends of the Arts which help to fund these free concerts and other arts events during the year.
