Thankfully, Tropical Storm Andrea was gentle with us!

After waking to hard rains and strong winds, we were pretty convinced it was going to be a rough day in Wilmington NC. Thankfully, Tropical Storm Andrea was gentle with us. There were some downed trees and minor flooding, but all in all TS Andrea was kind to us here in the Wilmington NC area.

With 2 new listings to get ready I had no choice but to be out and about. Isn't that always the way? It was interesting to drive through one area and have driving rains, only to go 2 blocks and have none. The Cape Fear River was choppy and the waters were high along the riverfront. I took these from the grounds of The Battleship North Carolina looking over to the Wilmington Riverfront.

Finally made it down to the beach in the afternoon. Winds were strong, and we got a little sandblasted, but I was surprised that the waves weren't bigger. They were beautiful though!

Andrea moved out of Wilmington NC last night and made her way North. Hopefully she's just as gentle with them as she was with us.

So glad to hear that Tish. It's always a relief. We've gotten a ton of rain here being on the outskirts. Definitely challenging to drive on some of the streets here.
