Speechelss Sunday:  Summer Thunderstorm

Summer Thunderstorm

We were luck to experience a spectacular Colorado thunderstorm last week... and with my trusty iPhone, I was able to capture a few great photos...and some video too.  The best part was sharing the evening with our family- kids and grandkids on their porch that evening.  A perfect summer night!

Kathy, that is very cool, and yes... very spectacular.  I would love to be seeing that in person, and hearing (and feeling) the shock waves from the thunder-clap that would follow.  It's not nice to mess with Mother Nature.  LOL.

Great photo capture Kathy, timing is everything when doing this.

Maybe you can teach us how you can do that!  :)

Kathy - That's quite the capture of Mother Nature's fury!  Here in Sacramento our lightening and thunder storms are mild compared to other places around the country.  I will never forget being caught up in one in Kansas.  CONGRATULATIONS on having this blog FEATURED in the Photos group!
