Saturday night we were fortunate enough to attend the new Carrabba’s Italian Grill’s soft opening in Katy, Texas. We were so excited about Carrabba’s coming to Katy as it has long been a family favorite. My children remember celebrating many a birthday at Carrabba’s, before they were a bought out by the Blooming Brands Group. There are still 2 original Carrabba’s restaurants in the Houston Area.
On Saturday night the service was outstanding, the kitchen has a few kinks to iron out as it is new. On Saturday night we had the calamari as an appetizer it was delicious especially with the wonderful marinara sauce. We each tried different entrees, I had the veal marsala it was rich with the veal being very tender. My dad had the Salmon which was perfectly cooked and Bob had the Fettuccini Weesie with rich creamy Alfredo sauce and perfectly cooked pink shrimp. It must have been good because not a thing was left on the plate. The wine list is reasonably priced and has a variety of great wines!
So if you have not had lunch yet or looking for a new place to try in the Katy area head on over to Carrabba’s Italian Grille at 6501 S. Fry Ste 600 or give them a call at 281-665-1320.
