The day before Valentine's Day is a better time to have flowers delivered.
From my experience if you try to have flowers delivered on Valentine's day, chances are it will come late or there will be a mistake. Especially if you are having them delivered to an office, it is essential that they arrive early so your recipiant will be able to enjoy people ooing and aaahhing throughout the day. If they are delivered at 5:30 PM. you run the chance of wondering if they were ever received. I learned this lesson last year, and this year was much more successful. You don't want to find out that no flowers were delived and then your significant other is wondering why you didn't get them anything. It will take away from the surprise to have to tell them that flowers were "supposed" to be delived on time.
