Virginia Sales Tax Holiday - August 2^nd to 4^th 2013

Virginia Sales Tax Holiday The school supplies and clothing sales tax holiday will take place in Virginia from August 2^nd to August 4^th 2013. During this three day period purchases of certain school supplies, clothing and shoes will be exempt from Virginia Sales Tax.

Restrictions:

School Supplies – each item must be $20 or less

Shoes/Closing – each item must be $100 or less

With kids heading back to school soon it’s a great time to take advantage of the savings. The event isn’t limited to supplies for children though so plan ahead and make any purchases you’ve been thinking of that fall into these categories next weekend.
