After you visit the La Mesa Village Farmers Market every Friday from 2-6PM, you can dash over to the Rancho San Diego Farmer’s Market every Saturday from 9AM - 2PM at the Cuyamaca College campus,
900 Rancho San Diego Pkwy El Cajon, CA 92019. It’s just off of Fury Lane in El Cajon.
With plenty of beautiful sunshine year round, the county of San Diego produces a wealth of agricultural delights. There are over 6,000 farms in the region-- more than any other county in the United States.
What this means to you is a wealth of deliciously fresh foods, which you can sample at neighborhood Farmer’s Markets all over San Diego County every single day of the week. Because of the high cost of water and land, San Diego farmers have learned to specialize in valuable niche crops, including avocados guavas, pomegranates, limes, macadamias, honey, lemons, strawberries, and eggs.
Stop by and sample! These certified markets specialize in fresh products from regional farmers. Most Farmer’s Markets also include local artisans, and provide delightful music, too. At some markets, cooks create everything from tamales to crepes, fine olives and olive oils, and plenty of cheeses and garlic treats.

While you’re visiting the Rancho San Diego Farmer's Market, you can also enjoy the Docent-led tours of the Cuyamaca Gardens which are held every Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
