LOVING LAKE ANNA EVEN ON GRAY DAYS
Kate's photo below reminds us that gray days in nature do not have to mean graying of our emotions. We see by this shot that even gray can be a lovely color. :)

Loving Lake Anna even on gray days is easy if you see the beauty that I see. Maybe the bright, sunny days just seem brighter and sunnier in comparison but I think it is more than that.
WATCHING THE STORM COME ACROSS LAKE ANNA
One day recently we were down on our dock. It was a typical pleasant summer day when all of a sudden it began to get darker and darker. As we sat and watched we could see the threatening clouds form and even see the rain beginning to visually block the shorelne across the lake from our house.
Fortunately we have a large 20 x 20 covered area with an additional covered L shaped 15 x 15 adjoining space that lets us get tucked away from the elements (pretty much). As long as there's no thunder and lightening it is a wonderful place to sit and watch the changes taking place right before your eyes.
Listening to the raindrops on the water is another pleasant sensation that I happen to enjoy. Of course when the wind picks up so do the waves and we even experience white caps.
It is possible that you have to love being near the water as much as I do to see the beauty in this picture but believe me, I really do. Hope you do too.
