MAGICAL DAY AT ALDERBROOK PARK IN BRUSH PRAIRIE, WA It's known as "A Place in the Forest for People." Have you been there yet? It is one of the coolest places for families to go. I decided to take my grandkids there for the day. Wow! What an awesome, relaxing day. It's very, very affordable.
It's really an events place for weddings and birthday parties, etc. but the whole huge place is just FUN all the way around. Starting with the FREE Lemonade Fountain...Lemonade coming right out of the "water fountain" --who does that? So fun. Then there's all the FREE fun stuff to do all the way around the acreage such as a fort, petting zoo, big maze, a huge pirate ship to steer, a shallow type outdoor swimming that is like the kind you see at fine hotels. My favorite part of the whole day was we took the paddle boats out onto "Mirror Lake" and at the very end of the lake were hundreds and hundreds of light blue dragon flies flitting right above the water. It was a peaceful and magical moment. SO beautiful!

On the way out of the park, I promised the grandkids they could have a treat. Alderbrook Park has a cool little SNACK BAR for shaved ice snow cones, cotton candy, etc. I let the kids line up and order their own shaved ice. Just fun times and memories!! Thank you Alderbrook Park for making this available to the public so we could enjoy it all.
