The San Francisco Flower and Garden Show promises to be exciting this year. With over 200 nurseries and other exhibitors, thousands of flowers and plants, and four acres of inspiring demonstration gardens there will be plenty to do and see. Many exhibitors will be offering their wares for sale. Highlights will include a container garden display for those of you who prefer to keep your gardening impulses under control, Sproutopia which features hands-on activities for the kids, bonsai demonstrations, and seminars which will be presented throughout the show. Food and wine will be sold throughout the venue. Another great feature will be free “package check” stations where you can drop off your purchases and enjoy the event unencumbered, and if that isn't enough -- free childcare will be available as well!
Marin County residents can purchase tickets locally by visiting The Urban Farmer in Mill Valley or any of the Sloat Garden Centers located in Mill Valley, San Rafael, Kentfield, or Novato.
