Brew Fest

The main purpose of the Kiwanis Club is performing community service projects to help serve the children. This indeed is one of those ventures; the 2nd Annual Brew Fest. It will feature brews on tap from local breweries – Brendan’s, BJ’s, The LAB Brewing Co., along with some of last year’s vendors that are expected to return: The Dougout Sports Grill, The Elephant Bar, Brewhouse, Mermaid Tavern … just to name only a few.
This year’s event is expected to be as big if not a bigger success as last year. It will be held at Conejo Creek Park North, Lakeside Pavilion behind the Library - 1378 Janss Road, Thousand Oaks beginning at 4:30pm and lasting until 8:00pm, with last call at 7:30pm. The admission fee is $50 at the door –or- $40 if ordered online, www.tobrewfest.com (online sales will end at 9:00pm on Wednesday, August 28th). The fee includes a variety of beers and appetizers.
In addition to the above, there will be some great Blues, Jazz and Country Music for your musical entertainment. Keeping in mind this is a charity event for the children of the community, there will be raffles, silent and live auctions as well. All must be 21 years of age or older.
