I had a market report ready to post today but, after watching coverage of the Navy Yard shootings all morning it’s not where my mind is. The Navy Yard isn’t but, 20 minutes from my house and there are 9 confirmed dead, suspects still on the loose. One of my best friends and her Mom work in the Navy Yard, she was off today but, her Mom is on lockdown in a building. They are blessed and I’m thankful they are okay but, other families out there can’t say the same for their loved ones. It leaves you feeling speechless and a little afraid.

This certainly isn’t the first tragedy of this nature but, when it’s so close to home it really makes you pause. So today, words are short but, my thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected by the shooting.

Amanda, I immediately thought of my Navy son stationed in VA at Virginia Beach. Who would have ever thought something like this would happen.
