Indeed, it was a great meeting yesterday with the Coldwell Banker United Austin Region Sales Team. Mark Sprague is a respected economist in our area and is generally a farily conservative voice. Basically, Austin and Central Texas are truly a wonderful place to LIVE, WORK, PLAY AND INVEST right now
Our President, Valerie Lyday, hosted an excellent company-wide Coldwell Banker United Sales meeting this morning! What a lineup..Our featured speaker was Mark Sprague, State Director of Information Capital for Independence Title. Mark answered the question “Where are we in the cycle?”
2013 brought welcoming surprises in our Austin real estate market:
1. Home price appreciation
2. Significant changes in consumer’s psychology
3. Significant low levels of inventory
Mark made a statement he used 20 years ago in California:
“The house or apartment you look at today will be gone tomorrow!”
There is not a better time to buy a home in Austin, Texas. Real estate is expected to get stronger and hotter as the 60,000 people a year keep moving in to Austin.
There were drawings for cash prizes and 2 agents from our office each won $100 in cash!
American Home Shield presented Our CEO Helen Edwards with a check for $1,000 to the American Cancer Society.
We received a demonstration on an App called “Videolicious” for us to download. Can’t wait to get it on my iPhone!
