It's that time of year again, where ghosts and goblins, witches and warlocks, and pumpkins and princesses come out to play! Yes, that's right, pumpkins are out in full force this year in Winooski. Sally Tipson (of Sally’s Flower Shop) has put on yet another great effort to turn Smith Park into a giant lighted pumpkin patch! Sally and her team of volunteers carved out a ton of pumpkins to display, for all to see.
The Festival of Pumpkins is part of Haunted Winooski, the week-long celebration of Halloween that is organized by the Winooski Welcome Center. Activities and events included a masquerade ball, dining specials, storytelling events, zombie walks, costume parade, and music events. This event was supported by Winooski Community Partnership, Burlington Free Press, TD Bank, and Physician’s Computer Company.
