Please stop calling me.

I am so fed up with the number of sales calls I get during the day on my cell phone and business line, morning, noon and night.

I hate the ones that end up being an automated calling device. And a computer is taking up my time. Worse if I had to run accross the room to get to the phone.

The worse ones are the ones who ask if you would like to have your name removed to call an alternative 800 number. I do not think so.

There has to be something done about these people. When I figure it out I am going to slam these people. Do not call register does not see to work for these people. I just do not want to talk to them.

But for the record you you hidden phone callers I DO NOT HAVE MORE THAN $10,000 IN CREDIT CARD BILLS SO TAKE ME OFF YOUR LIST.

You can install a free phone app on your smartphone, MrNumber It detects and blocks spam calls and can hangup or send it to voicemail. I have been using it for years.

You can also look up your state laws on telemarketing. In Colorado, it is against the law to make telemarketing calls to a cell phone, because it may cost the cell phone owner minutes on their phone plan.

Hi Merline -- I've gotten some in the last few weeks where the caller states, I'm returning your calling in reference to (fill-in-the-blank) and I've never made a call. I typically won't answer calls where the caller ID states it's from a 800 area code.

Caller I.D. helps me. If the caller is "Zillow", etc. I just don't answer or return messages. They rarely leave messages anyway.

That is very interesting Jerry. I will look into that.

Micheal I don't answer too many 800 number calls, but the problem with that is that I do short sales and the banks call from 800 numbers.

Lenn caller ID helps a bit.
