Waterfront with a dock and this is the picture?

So, I have seen bad pictures in listings before, but this one made me spout off.  Sometimes pictures include an unmade bed, a dirty kitchen, kids' toys strewn, or the like.  But a picture of a garage door? But not even the whole door.

And this is a picture that the licensee hopes will help sell this waterfront with a dock.  Was the dock covered with geese? Were there too many boats on it? Was the water so low or so high that it made the dock look uninviting? And what is on the other part of the garage door anyway?

It is pretty surprising that in this world of Internet real estate, there are still licensees who are willing to use pictures like this in their listings. Excuse me, but it makes the rest of us look as thoughtless by association - we do provide MLS searches from our own sites.

This would be like Tiffanys using their stockroom as their front door. Or like the Miss Universe pageant parading the contestants in their skin-softening masks with their hair in a towel. Or like ... you get the idea.

Harumph!

For some BEAUTIFUL photos of waterfront property, compare that one with a few at http://www.robertpaul.com/upper-cape-cod-luxury-real-estate

That's just hilarious. Perhaps the agent is trying to undersell the good points.  Ya think?
