I have no idea if the father did anything to justify his arrest. That is up to the courts (if it goes that far) to determine.

My concern is that the school feels they can hold a child until the school determines it is safe for the child's PARENT to take possession of their child.

What? I walk to the school to pick up MY kid and you tell me I have to wait until all the kids have left who's parents drove? You are telling me I can't keep my kid safe when walking back home? Isn't it the parent's job to make that decision? The school does not own the kid and once the parent arrives to take the child the school must relinquish the kid to the legal guardian.

Yes, schools are part of the government. Check out Common Core and the liberal message it is spreading, not to mention the idiotic questions that have multiple correct answers and the kid pick the 2nd most correct answer. What?

Than, Things have sure changed in America. I do know there are two sides to every story and that what the media and press write about is to be taken with a grain of salt. We both know the legal system is broken too. I'm not the judge or the jury, I hope justice prevails.

Than I saw this. In liberal land your kids belong to the state and you get them when the state is finished with them. A couple of weeks ago a woman posted her Concealed Weapons Permit on facebook (she generally post recipes and things - I guess she was proud of this), she is a black war vet. She was barred from the school as they felt she was a threat! Yes over the facebook post.

While this is pretty stupid, trying to somehow connect these policies in a 80% Republican county (with a Republican School Board) in Tennessee to the 'liberal agenda' is laughable.

Your analysis is pretty typical, Karl. The political party in power in the county or city doesn't matter. This type of government control is driven by Dem/liberal thinking. The party affiliation of the idiots who wrote the policy and those enforcing the 'law' are more relevant. An R or D by the name does not show their true thinking on all issues. Look at McCain. Other than a war hawk he is pretty liberal by conservative standards.

Of course, you know this and are throwing your typical smoke screen of 'someone somewhere is a Repbulican or was appointed by a Republican, so don't blame the Dems when Lib/Dem policy/agendas are put in place!'

I live to the elementary school. Last week I saw a lot of police cars, few helicopters all over the school ~ I was very curious what had happened. Long story short, someone entered a playground, after hours, so because that stranger someone called 911. No harm was done, no one was caught. I guess, it is better to be wrong than sorry.
