That's the number of emails I've received today from companies hawking their wares for Black Friday, and the day isn't over yet. Add that to yesterday's local newspaper that was about 25 times bigger than normal...and this is certainly the year that marketers are out in force.
I get it, and it doesn't bother me, but this is the first year that the assault has been so big, especially the digital one. I've gotten emails from companies I haven't done business with in ten years. Those old email databases apparently still work after all this time.
I wish them luck, I really do. That being said, they're wasting their bandwidth trying to get me out on Black Friday.
