Which Would You Prefer To Shovel Snow Or Sand - Sarasota Florida
Watching the weather this morning reminded me of just how cold and isolating snowy weather can be. The Weather Channel was highlighting scenes of snow, sleet, ice, and just plain old cold weather. The reporter stated that there was an 80 degree difference between the upper mid-West and Southern Florida yesterday. All I can think is burrrrrrrr!
They've started naming snow storms, a depressing thought, that include this year (2013) Atlas, Boreas, Cleon, Dion, Electra and more. When I think of beach names I'm not thinking about digging out, I'm thinking Longboat is for nature lovers, Lido is for sunsets, Siesta is for relaxation, Casey is hidden enclaves, Venice is for picturesque sites, and Manasota is for seclusion and exclusivity.
But don't worry if the beach isn't your scene. Sarasota is a city of glorified opportunity where residents and visitors enjoy museums, theater, ballet, opera, baseball (Sarasota is the spring training home of the Baltimore Orioles), golf, tennis, fishing, hunting, boating and more, much more.
If you would prefer beach chairs over snow shovels, then let me help you find your ideal primary residence, vacation home, or investment property from the many homes for sale in Sarasota Florida.
In Sarasota you can have fun in the sun, on the sand and in the sea 365 days a year. So, which would you prefer to shovel snow or sand - Sarasota Florida.
