All socks and mittens collected through December 31st at one of these fine Reno establishments will be donated to the WCSD Children in Transition.  The Children in Transition Program provides services to homeless children throughout the Reno and Washoe County area so that they can achieve a quality education.  Having socks and mittens to keep them warm during the chilly winter months is one way you can help eliminate a barrier to getting them to school every day so that they don't fall behind on their education.  It may sound like a small thing, but it can be very significant in the world of a child who struggles with day-to-day living.
