After watching several episodes of House Hunters International I have come to the conclusion that real estate life as we know it is not quite the same.
The ongoing theme for showing property is three homes and done. Afterwards everyone sits down at the kitchen table and signs a contract. Usually there is very little if any arguing or negotiating and no mention is made of the important stuff like inspections.
What's more is how the buyers walk through a house and immediately talk about how lovely everything little thing is, but then will kill a deal based on something stupid like a small driveway or bathroom. All I know is that I wish I could show a couple three houses, sign a contract, and move on to the next on a beautiful island with an incredible setting.
